Wave Speak turns your voice into text on your Mac, built around one principle: your voice never leaves your Mac.

The short version

• No data collected. No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no tracking, no ads.
• Everything runs on your device. Your audio, transcripts, and files are never sent anywhere.
• All models built in. The three speech models ship inside the app and run offline, so there is nothing to download.

How your data is handled

Everything you give Wave Speak stays on your Mac and is never uploaded anywhere: your microphone audio, your transcripts, and any files you transcribe.

Every model runs offline on your Mac. All three speech models are built into the app and work from the very first launch, so nothing is ever downloaded. Wave Speak goes online for just one thing: Apple's App Store service confirming your purchase or free trial. That never includes your audio, transcripts, or files.

Purchases

The free trial and one-time purchase are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store.

Permissions

• Microphone: to hear you while you dictate.
• Notifications (optional): brief status messages.

Wave Speak collects no personal data from anyone, so its App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected." If this policy ever changes, this page and the date above will be updated.
